Veterinary Medicine Hands-On Academic Retreat

Highly motivated Undergraduate, high school, and middle school students are welcomed.

Exceptional DVM mentors and counselors from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, UC Berkeley, Colorado State University, University of Florida, Fordham University, Pepperdine University & Columbia University.

Horse/trail riding (for an additional fee), archery, and fishing on Vaquera Ranch’s private lake.

$2,839.88 with sibling/ friend discount of $150 applied; Includes 5 nights.

All meals and accommodations included.

Student accommodations-newly renovated bunkhouse, slumber party style sleeping arrangements. Bring a sleeping mat, sleeping bag, and pillow—limited bunk beds available reserve a bunk bed for your stay for $200.00.

Arrive Sunday, July 17th- check-in after 3 pm. Early check-in is available for $200.00 (must be arranged before the start of the program. Early check-in is available at 11 am)

Departure Friday, July 22nd @ 11 am. Late check out available for $200.00 (must be arranged before the start of the program. Must depart before 3 pm.)

Covid-19 Policy
Students and staff must take a rapid Covid-19 test and have a negative result 24 hrs or less before arrival.
Students must bring two new rapid Covid-19 tests to the program, which they will use during the program if needed.
If a student should not feel well, they will be quarantined, and their parent or an authorized adult will need to pick them up asap/within 24 hrs of being notified.

Refund Policy
The program is fully refundable due to a medical condition before the start of the program.
