Amara Morrison holds a J.D. and master’s in environmental law from Vermont Law School, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. Amara has been practicing law in California for more than twenty years, and is currently a municipal attorney for the city of Livermore specializing in land use, redevelopment, and environmental law. Amara is an avid horsewoman, who also enjoys travel, cycling,
hiking, and cooking. She and her daughter Islay live in Orinda, CA.
