Bay Area Equine Vet Camp, the only camp of its kind in Northern California, is an intensive seven-day, equine-focused summer camp designed and geared for mature, highly motivated middle and high school students and college undergrads. Vet Camp takes a collaborative and experiential approach to learning and incorporates STEM (science, technology, engineering & math), art, writing, music, and yoga for equestrians. 2015 BAE Vet Camp runs August 1–7.
BAE Vet Camp is a powerful and memorable educational opportunity for students, particularly those who love animals and who want to explore different career opportunities working with animals. Many students interested in Vet Camp are even considering veterinary school in the future, and the hours students spend at Vet Camp can be applied to academic résumés and veterinary school applications. At the same time, many deserving and qualified students can only attend Vet Camp with the help of generous sponsorship from donors like you.
BAE Vet Camp participates in a need-based scholarship program through NAIS, National Association of Independent Schools, www.nais.org. Parents submit comprehensive financial information to NAIS, which in turn, determines how much each family can contribute to total camp costs. With this scholarship program in place, Vet Camp leadership is able to identify qualified students who have applied to camp and who need financial aid to attend. You can be assured that you would be sponsoring deserving students who have met the criteria for camp attendance and who are truly in need of financial assistance. And you can feel good that you are helping a deserving student’s dream for a camp experience come true.

In order to take part in 2016 BAE Vet Camp, commuting students need to raise $1,500, and residential students need to raise $2,500—and some need your help. You can sponsor one particular student, or you can contribute any amount to the BAE Vet Camp Scholarship Fund, which directs financial assistance to qualified students in need.
