Bay Area Arabian Horse Girl Needs A Kidney Donor
ALEXS2

Alex Shveyda, an avid equestrian and animal lover from the Bay Area, is a twenty-two-year-old college student who also works in the field of veterinary medicine. Alex has recently been diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, and is in kidney failure. Alex is the kind of person who lights up a room when entering. She is caring and compassionate. Her love and dedication to all animals is testimony to her kind nature. This amazing young lady needs our help. In order to beat this disease, Alex needs a kidney transplant. The optimal scenario would be for her to have a living donor. While her immediate family is going through testing, they would also like to have as many people as possible tested to increase the chances of finding the perfect match. If you are willing to be tested to determine if you are a possible match for Alex, please email Leigha Perry at leigha.perry@yahoo.com with your contact information. UCSF has accepted Alex to start the transplant process. Her family would also like to get Alex accepted by UC Davis and placed on the UC Davis transplant list. If you cannot become a kidney donor, but would like to help Alex get on the UC Davis donor list, your donation and support of Alex’s Go Fund Me page would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
