Halloween Harvest Hoedown! Giddy up and let the good times roll at BAE Stables which will be decked out for Halloween! Come in costume to be entered in a costume contest or bring a miniature horse costume and play dress up with our mascot Chippers! There will also be a pumpkin carving contest! Contestants must provide their own pumpkin and carving tools.

Horse and equestrian inspired card making class with writer Joan Morris – Pets & Wildlife columnist (Animal Life) and garden writer for the Bay Area News Group (Contra Costa Times, Oakland Tribune, San Jose Mercury News). Learn more about Joan Morris.

Students will explore their creativity in a craft form that goes beyond texts and hashtags. Students will leave class with four completed projects each and quite possibly an appreciation for the paper arts. All materials supplied. Learn how Joan turned her love for animals into a writing career working for several local newspapers.

Meet Dakota & Tiger Lily the new BAE Club rescue horses! Learn about their rehabilitation and training programs to help them overcome a life of neglect and abuse.

Members free of charge. Parents and guests $10 each to attend card making class with Joan. Feel free to bring friends to this BAE Club event!

 

All proceeds benefit the BAE Rescue Horse Program.
