Tack Shop

The grand opening of the BAE Club Tack Shop on Sunday, June 22, 2014, was a smashing success! Thank you to all who came out to support BAE Club and The Spotted Cow—and for sharing the good news with your family and friends. We are deeply grateful to you and hope to see you often! Bring a friend!

The BAE Club Tack Shop is located in The Spotted Cow, at 2631 N. Main Street, Walnut Creek. More about The Spotted Cow in just a moment. The Tack Shop offers gently used riding boots and show clothes, tack, veterinary medicine and horse-related books, horse memorabilia, horse-themed home décor, western and equine-inspired art and jewelry, and collectible Breyer horses.

BAE Club Tack Shop now offers beautiful, handcrafted horsetail bracelets from A Tail to Remember. Custom made, the jeweler uses hair from your horse to create your own unique piece of jewelry. What a special gift for a horse lover!

A full 100% of the proceeds from BAE Club Tack Shop benefit BAE Club’s Rescue Horse Program, which helps foster and rehabilitate rescue horses.

You may donate your gently used riding boots, tack, show apparel, horsey items, Breyer horses, Vet Med/horse books, vehicle, pick up truck, horse trailer or Airstream trailer to BAEClub and receive a tax deduction!  We ask that you please clearly mark donations for, ‘BAE Club’ and include contact information so you can be mailed or emailed a donation receipt.

The Spotted Cow is a distinctive new shop specializing in antiques, vintage collectibles and home décor, and handmade products. Owners Mackenzie Lesher and Mary Niles also carry vintage jewelry, housewares, garden items, and collectibles such as cameras, manual typewriters, and American memorabilia. Locally designed arts and crafts are sold by artisans who create homemade cards, hats, wall art, pottery, jewelry, toys, mini succulent gardens, and chalk boards made from re-purposed doors. The Spotted Cow also offers a vibrant schedule of do-it-yourself classes and workshops, including classes in furniture refinishing and painting, succulent gardens, and seasonal home décor projects.“This is not your grandma’s antique store,” says Lesher.
